A LITTLE BIT ABOUT US

The Little Flower Box has been a dream for many years, to bring a mix of home grown and sustainable blooms to enjoy all year round as the seasons flow, inspired by local Cornish nature.

I have always loved gardening, interiors and flowers since my own wedding 28 years ago!

For my Birthday my husband bought me Flora our horse box and the The Little Flower Box began.

I have attended many courses over the years but more recently taken part in Philippa Craddock’s Flower school masterclass over a period of 28 tutorials talking and learning all things flowers and business.

Flora is often in full bloom with lots of varieties for you to choose from including sustainable plants, flowers and bulbs in our salvaged containers for you to enjoy year on year.

We like to source something a little different and we have a stock of unusual props for your wedding or event, some of these are available for you to keep after your event and some are available for hire aiming to improve the sustainability of event floristry and allow a lighter footprint.

We are always on the look out for something unusual and when we are not tending to seeds and flowers we are sourcing beautiful props often from salvage fairs.

Flowers and plants are often seen as a luxury but we all deserve that little bit of joy that they bring to us and it brings me great joy to bring them to you in a considered way being kind to our environment.

All the very best

Our Commitment to Sustainability

Sustainability sits at the heart of everything we do. We provide flowers from a cooperative of local growers who share our values. We also provide the finest Cornish blooms from seed to bloom, nurtured within our own garden in Luxulyan wherever possible. Scent matters to us too, there's something about a fragrance that carries you straight back to your wedding day, long after the celebrations have ended.

For couples who want that floral ‘wow’ factor without the environmental cost, we offer seasonal planters and trees to hire, helping to keep your day's carbon footprint lighter without compromising on style.

We're proud members of the Sustainable Wedding Alliance, because we believe sustainability isn't a solo journey—it's a community effort. We're part of a growing movement of wedding professionals committed to a nature-positive impact, and we're here to help you navigate your wedding with purpose, integrity and respect for our planet.
